ITINERARY FOR 5 DAYS PRIMATE TREKKING IN UGANDA AND WILDLIFE SAFARIS

Day 1 Primate trekking in Uganda and wildlife safaris: Drive from Kampala to Kibale National Park-Afternoon Chimpanzee trekking.

Early morning departures from your Hotel or area of residence in Kampala and drive to Kibale National Park with stopover for lunch break in Fort portal town before heading to the park for Chimpanzee trekking and over night at Papaya lakeside lodge (Luxury option) or Kibale Forest Camp for both Midrange and Budget Option. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinnerr

Day 2: Bigodi Swamp Walk and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP-Kazinga channel boat cruise.

9 Days Uganda primate safaris starts with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National and afternoon waterfall boat cruise that will enable you have amazing wildlife views of African Lions, Leopards, African Buffaloes, African Elephants, Nile Crocodiles and many other animals plus a Hike to the top of Murchison falls and return back to the Hotel for a night overstay at either Paraa safari lodge (Luxury option), Pakuba safari lodge (Midrange lodge) or Fort Murchison for Lazy Camping or Red Chili Rest Camp (Budget option). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner hence making our 9 Days Uganda primate safaris interesting.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth NP-Morning game drive, Ishasha tree climbing lions, drive to Bwindi.

Leave early in the morning with your packed breakfast and lunch boxes for game viewing around Kasenyi area and then take your breakfast before driving to Ishasha sector for another game drive in search for tree climbing lions and other wildlife’s that we will be able to spot on this game drive and thereafter transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for Night at Either Mahogany springs for Luxury option or haven lodge (Midrange option) or Buhoma community camp for Budget facilities. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4 Primate trekking in Uganda and wildlife safaris: Gorilla Trekking Adventure and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning encounter with the rare mountain gorillas, return after 2-6 hours and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, evening lake excursion with overnight at either Lake Bunyonyi eco-resort located at one of the islands for Luxury and mid range options or Lake Bunyonyi overland resort for Budget travelers. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 5 Primate trekking in Uganda and wildlife safaris: Drive to Kampala

We will leave Lake Bunyonyi after having breakfast and drive back to Kampala through the rolling hills of Kigezi- Kabale and banana plantations of Ankole regions with stopover for lunch in Mbarara and equator line for Camera time before continuing with journey to Kampala and that will mark the end of Primate trekking in Uganda and wildlife safaris. Meal plan: Breakfast.
