ITINERARY FOR 3 DAYS GORILLA TREKKING IN RWANDA
Day 1: Arrival Kigali International Airport
As we start our 3 Days gorilla trekking in Rwanda, you will be welcomed by our tour guide on arrival at Kigali international airport, he will shortly brief you about the 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda. Visit the Genocide Memorial Site, a grim reminder of a senseless massacre of innocent lives in 1994, from here we learn about Rwanda’s history from pre-colonial times to 1994 genocide and how Rwanda has dealt with that past happening. We continue with our 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Rwanda with a city tour of Africa’s smartest city “Kigali City”, the recovery has been incredible, a testament to human kinds resilience, We enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Kigali. Day 2: Drive from Kigali to Volcanoes national park
Having arrived in Rwanda the previous day, we encounter our 3 Days gorilla trekking in Rwanda with a morning breakfast, hence drive to Musanze (formerly called Ruhengeri) in the northwest part of Rwanda on our Rwanda gorilla tour. Musanze happens to be the main base town for Rwanda gorilla tours. The drive is through beautiful rolling hills, bypassing coffee plantations, tea and banana plantations on a comfortable paved road and is approximately 2 hrs 30 mins drive from Kigali. Arrive and have lunch at Mountain Gorilla view lodge, Hotel La palme or Muhabura hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national Park – Kigali Out
As we are looking forward to experience the unforgettable 3 Days Rwanda gorilla tours, we will Wake up early morning, have breakfast and report for briefing as we are accompanied by experienced game rangers through the forest while trailing mountain gorillas in Volcanoes national park. Time taken while searching for these great apes, ranges between 2 to 6 hours depending on the current grazing area of the mountain gorilla groups therefore, move with your packed lunch, water, tracking gears among others. Meet, chant and enjoy their entertainment for one hour while taking photos for remembrance. Return to your lodge, relax shortly and transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
